spring reading thing 2008 wrap-up

The spring reading thing 2008 is over, so I need to post a wrap-up. I think I kind of gave up on this a couple weeks ago since I got more into sewing, but I still read a lot of good books! Here were the books I read:

The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory
The Queen's Fool by Philippa Gregory
The Virgin's Lover by Philippa Gregory
The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory
The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory
The Hidden Diary of Marie Antoinette by Carolly Erickson

Doesn't seem like such a big list but I had a lot of fun reading these books, I went with a royal fiction theme and I really love that genre now. I discovered that I really love Philippa Gregory books and I hope to read much more of her work. I really loved each and every one that I read, excluding The Queen's Fool and The Constant Princess, those were a little dull for me. I got my younger sister hooked on the books by Philippa Gregory, so I have someone to share them with, I even got invited to join a Philippa Gregory bookclub while I was at the bookstore buying some books. I had a good time doing the reading thing and if I have time in the fall, I'd like to do it again.

  1. Good job, Casey! It's great to hear your enthusiasm -- and that you loved most of the ones you read! Thanks again for being part of the Spring Reading Thing!

Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to leave me a comment! I read everything and try to get back to everyone (as long as there's an email to reply to).
