Go over to Brassy Apple to participate in the fun Crafty Summer Series. The first challenge has me completely stumped, at first when I read about it, I was buzzing with ideas. Then I went to start and I keep blanking. The challenge is to do something with a t-shirt; embellish it, cut it, re-purpose it, whatever. Maybe I'll come up with something by June 3rd, maybe not, but I can't wait to see what others come up with!
I love re-doing t-shirts! If it helps with the brainstorming, I've got a whole list of ways to embellish things (embroidery, painting, applique, etc) over on my blog under the tag "embroidery", and even instructions to make your own loom and yarn from a t-shirt and some scrap wood/nails, then weave with said t-shirts (should be under tag "tutorials).
