Oh.my.goodness! I finished the movie last night, didn't think I'd be able to get through it all, the kids made it a bit difficult. Now that I've seen it, I swoon even harder after Mr. Rochester. How dreamy is he, seriously?
I think the BBC did a really good job with it and from what I've been reading, people seem to think it's the best version to watch. I questioned if there were others in my other post and all I had to do was look on youtube, there's a few out there. And a new one is being made also with Ellen Page playing Jane, I think she'll probably do a good job playing her. I haven't been able to find out who's playing Mr. Rochester yet though, maybe he hasn't been cast?
I'm going to have to buy the dvd soon so that I can watch it without all the having to click to the next part. That way I can watch it over and over as many times as I want.
Lol, don't you wish we could go back in time for a visit to this era?! I just want to wear a pretty dress and speak old english for one day!
ReplyDeleteI love all period dramas so if you see any more good ones, let me know!
Oooh, I NEED to see this!
ReplyDeleteYes, you do have to get your own copy!
ReplyDeleteThe new film has Michael Fassbender as Rocheseter. Ellen Page is no longer playing Jane- it's Mia something, the girl who plays Alice in the current Alice in Wonderland.
Okay, I finally rented this and watched it one night last week... THE BEST EVER!! Thanks for recommending it. :)
