the movie

Oh.my.goodness! I finished the movie last night, didn't think I'd be able to get through it all, the kids made it a bit difficult. Now that I've seen it, I swoon even harder after Mr. Rochester. How dreamy is he, seriously?

I think the BBC did a really good job with it and from what I've been reading, people seem to think it's the best version to watch. I questioned if there were others in my other post and all I had to do was look on youtube, there's a few out there. And a new one is being made also with Ellen Page playing Jane, I think she'll probably do a good job playing her. I haven't been able to find out who's playing Mr. Rochester yet though, maybe he hasn't been cast?

I'm going to have to buy the dvd soon so that I can watch it without all the having to click to the next part. That way I can watch it over and over as many times as I want.

  1. Lol, don't you wish we could go back in time for a visit to this era?! I just want to wear a pretty dress and speak old english for one day!
I love all period dramas so if you see any more good ones, let me know!

  2. Yes, you do have to get your own copy!
The new film has Michael Fassbender as Rocheseter. Ellen Page is no longer playing Jane- it's Mia something, the girl who plays Alice in the current Alice in Wonderland.
